OET (OET-LV) Not it_will_be_heard again violence in_land_of_your devastation and_destruction in_territories_of_your and_you_will_call salvation walls_of_your and_gates_of_your praise.
OET (OET-RV) Violence won’t be experienced in your land—
⇔
no more devastation or destruction in your territories.
⇔
You’ll realise that salvation protects you like city walls
⇔
and praise like your city gates.
Note 1 topic: figures-of-speech / abstractnouns
חָמָס֙
violence/cruelty
If your language does not use an abstract noun for the idea of Violence, you could express the same idea in another way. Alternate translation: [Violent actions]
Note 2 topic: figures-of-speech / activepassive
לֹא יִשָּׁמַ֨ע ע֤וֹד חָמָס֙
not heard again/more violence/cruelty
The expression will no longer be heard is a passive verbal form. If it would be unnatural to use that form, you could express the idea in active form or in another way that is natural in your language. Alternate translation: [No one will hear of violence anymore]
Note 3 topic: figures-of-speech / ellipsis
שֹׁ֥ד וָשֶׁ֖בֶר בִּגְבוּלָ֑יִךְ
devastation and,destruction in,territories_of,your
Yahweh is leaving out some of the words that in many languages a sentence would need in order to be complete. You can supply these words from the context if that would be clearer in your language. Alternate translation: [destruction and breaking will no longer happen within your borders]
Note 4 topic: figures-of-speech / doublet
שֹׁ֥ד וָשֶׁ֖בֶר
devastation and,destruction
The terms destruction and breaking mean similar things. Yahweh is using the two terms together for emphasis. If it would be clearer for your readers, you could express the emphasis with a single phrase. Alternate translation: [terrible destruction]
Note 5 topic: figures-of-speech / metaphor
וְקָרָ֤את יְשׁוּעָה֙ חוֹמֹתַ֔יִךְ וּשְׁעָרַ֖יִךְ תְּהִלָּֽה
and,you_will_call salvation walls_of,your and,gates_of,your praise
Here Yahweh is speaking as if the walls and gates of Jerusalem could bear the names Salvation and Praise. He means that the city will be so secure that its walls testify to his saving of it, and people passing through its gates will praise him. Your language may have a comparable expression that you can use in your translation, or you could state the meaning plainly. Alternate translation: [And your walls will show that I have saved the city, and those who pass through your gates will praise me]
Note 6 topic: figures-of-speech / abstractnouns
יְשׁוּעָה֙
salvation
If your language does not use an abstract noun for the idea of Salvation, you could express the same idea in another way. Alternate translation: [Yahweh Saves You]

Note: The OET-RV is still only a first draft, and so far only a few words have been (mostly automatically) matched to the Hebrew or Greek words that they’re translated from.
