OET (OET-LV) Not it_will_be to_you again the_sun for_light by_day and_for_brightness the_moon not it_will_shine to/for_you(fs) and_it_was to/for_you(fs) YHWH (into)_a_light_of perpetuity and_god_of_your (into)_splendour_of_your.
OET (OET-RV) ⇔
The sun will no longer be your light during the day,
⇔
≈ nor will the moon’s brightness shine for you,
⇔
but rather, Yahweh will be your perpetual light,
⇔
≈ and your god will be your brilliant light.
Note 1 topic: figures-of-speech / explicit
לֹא יִֽהְיֶה לָּ֨ךְ ע֤וֹד הַשֶּׁ֨מֶשׁ֙ לְא֣וֹר יוֹמָ֔ם וּלְנֹ֕גַהּ הַיָּרֵ֖חַ לֹא יָאִ֣יר לָ֑ךְ
not will_belong to,you again/more the,sun for,light by_day and,for,brightness the,moon not give_~_light to/for=you(fs)
The implication is not that the sun and moon will cease to exist, but that Jerusalem will no longer need them because Yahweh’s presence will give it light. You could include this information if that would be helpful to your readers. Alternate translation: [You will no longer need the sun for light by day, and you will not need the moon to give you light for brightness]
Note 2 topic: figures-of-speech / abstractnouns
לְא֣וֹר עוֹלָ֔ם
for,light (into)_a,light_of everlasting
If your language does not use an abstract noun for the idea of eternity, you could express the same idea in another way. Alternate translation: [for a light that will shine forever]
Note 3 topic: figures-of-speech / metaphor
וְהָיָה לָ֤ךְ יְהוָה֙ לְא֣וֹר עוֹלָ֔ם
and=it_was to/for=you(fs) YHWH (into)_a,light_of everlasting
Here Yahweh is speaking of himself as if he were an everlasting light for Jerusalem. He means that his presence will guide his people and give them glory forever. Your language may have a comparable expression that you can use in your translation, or you could state the meaning plainly. Alternate translation: [but Yahweh will be to you the one who guides you forever]
Note 4 topic: figures-of-speech / ellipsis
וֵאלֹהַ֖יִךְ לְתִפְאַרְתֵּֽךְ
and,God_of,your (into),splendor_of,your
Yahweh is leaving out some of the words that in many languages a sentence would need in order to be complete. You can supply these words from the context if that would be clearer in your language. Alternate translation: [and your God will be to you for your splendor]

Note: The OET-RV is still only a first draft, and so far only a few words have been (mostly automatically) matched to the Hebrew or Greek words that they’re translated from.
