BrLXX Καὶ πρὸς τὸν λαὸν τοῦτον ἐρεῖς, τάδε λέγει Κύριος, ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ δέδωκα πρὸ προσώπου ὑμῶν τὴν ὁδὸν τῆς ζωῆς, καὶ τὴν ὁδὸν τοῦ θανάτου.

Sunt qui hunc locum secundum tropologiam sic exponunt: Melius est se tradere sæcularibus disciplinis, maxime philosophicis, quam in Ecclesia illa permanere; in qua fames sit sermonis Dei, et omnis populus hæreticorum gladio et doctrinæ penuria, et peste hæretica moriatur.
