TSNTyndale Study Notes:

27:1-22 The Lord ordered Jeremiah to send messages to the ambassadors from nearby countries to announce the Lord’s judgment upon them. He was to illustrate his message by wearing a wooden yoke. This event took place in 594–593 BC (see 28:1).

UTNuW Translation Notes:

(Occurrence 0) Then send them out

(Some words not found in UHB: and,send,them to/towards king ʼEdōm and=near/to king Mōʼāⱱ and=near/to king sons_of ˊAmmōn and=near/to king Tsor/(Tyre) and=near/to king Tsīdōn/(Sidon) in/on/at/with,hand_of envoys the=(ones_who)_went Yerushalayim to/towards Tsidqiyyāh/(Zedekiah) king Yehuda )

This seems to mean that Jeremiah was to send a set of fetters and yoke to each king listed. But some versions of the Bible translate this as “Then send out messages.”

Note 1 topic: figures-of-speech / synecdoche

(Occurrence 0) Send them by the hand of those kings’ ambassadors who … Judah

(Some words not found in UHB: and,send,them to/towards king ʼEdōm and=near/to king Mōʼāⱱ and=near/to king sons_of ˊAmmōn and=near/to king Tsor/(Tyre) and=near/to king Tsīdōn/(Sidon) in/on/at/with,hand_of envoys the=(ones_who)_went Yerushalayim to/towards Tsidqiyyāh/(Zedekiah) king Yehuda )

The hand is a synecdoche for the person. Alternate translation: “Have those kings’ ambassadors, who … Judah, take them”
