OET (OET-LV)And_cut two tablets of_stone(s) like_the_first and_rose_early Mosheh in/on/at/with_morning and_he/it_ascended to the_mountain of_Şīnay just_as he_had_commanded Yahweh DOM_him/it and_he/it_took in_his/its_hand two tablets of_stone(s).

OET (OET-RV)So Mosheh carved out two slabs of stone like the first ones, and he got up early in the morning and went up to Mount Sinai as Yahweh had commanded him, carrying up the two slabs of stone.

TSN Tyndale Study Notes:

34:1-35 God granted Moses’ request (33:18), showed Moses his goodness (34:1-9), and renewed the covenant (34:10-35). This renewal was a unilateral statement by God. God would indeed go with his people, maintaining his covenant promises even though they had broken the covenant (32:1-6) and deserved nothing better than death and abandonment.
