Moses spoke of causing people to sin as if sin were an object and Aaron put it on them. If it would be helpful in your language, you could state the meaning plainly. Alternate translation: “that you have caused them to sin greatly”
32:1-35 At the foot of Mount Sinai, after Moses had been absent for many days, the people felt the need for protection, guidance, and a tangible way to express their worship.
