OET (OET-LV) And_sent_a_plague YHWH DOM the_people on that they_had_made DOM the_calf which he_had_made ʼAhₐron.
OET (OET-RV) Then Yahweh sent a plague on the people because they had got Aharon to make the gold bull.
Note 1 topic: figures-of-speech / explicit
עָשׂ֣וּ אֶת־הָעֵ֔גֶל אֲשֶׁ֥ר עָשָׂ֖ה אַהֲרֹֽן
they_had_acquired DOM the,calf which/who he/it_had_made ʼAhₐron
The people are being spoken of as having made the calf themselves (along with Aaron) because they demanded it and gave their gold for it. If it would be helpful to your readers, you could express that explicitly. Alternate translation: “they were guilty along with Aaron of making the calf”
Note 2 topic: grammar-connect-logic-result
וַיִּגֹּ֥ף יְהוָ֖ה אֶת־הָעָ֑ם עַ֚ל אֲשֶׁ֣ר עָשׂ֣וּ אֶת־הָעֵ֔גֶל אֲשֶׁ֥ר עָשָׂ֖ה אַהֲרֹֽן
and,sent_a_plague YHWH DOM the,people on/upon/above/on_account_of//he/it_went_in which/who they_had_acquired DOM the,calf which/who he/it_had_made ʼAhₐron
If it would be more natural in your language, you could reverse the order of these phrases, since the second phrase gives the reason for the result that the first phrase describes. Alternate translation: “And because they had made the calf (that Aaron made), Yahweh plagued the people”
32:1-35 At the foot of Mount Sinai, after Moses had been absent for many days, the people felt the need for protection, guidance, and a tangible way to express their worship. God knew this and was eager to meet these needs (chs 25–31). The Israelites, however, tried to meet their needs for themselves. Fellowship with God requires depending on him (see John 15:5; 2 Cor 3:5).
OET (OET-LV) And_sent_a_plague YHWH DOM the_people on that they_had_made DOM the_calf which he_had_made ʼAhₐron.
OET (OET-RV) Then Yahweh sent a plague on the people because they had got Aharon to make the gold bull.
Note: The OET-RV is still only a first draft, and so far only a few words have been (mostly automatically) matched to the Hebrew or Greek words that they’re translated from.
