OET (OET-RV) “I’m your oldest son Esaw,” Yacob replied to his father. “I’ve done what you told me. Please get up, and come and sit up and eat some of my game, so that you’ll bless me.”
Note 1 topic: writing-quotations

Alternate translation: [Jacob lied to his father]

I (Some words not found in UHB: and=he/it_said Yaakob to/towards his/its=father I ˊĒsāv firstborn_of,your done just=as told to,me get_up now sit, and,eat, some,of,my_hunted_game in=account_of it,may_bless_me self_of,your )
The author assumes that readers will know that the firstborn son had special rights, inheriting his father’s authority and the largest portion of his father’s estate. Jacob is deceitfully claiming those rights by using this term. You could say that explicitly if that would be helpful to your readers. See how you translated this term in Genesis [25:13](../25/13.md). Alternate translation: [I am Esau, your firstborn son]
עָשִׂ֕יתִי כַּאֲשֶׁ֥ר דִּבַּ֖רְתָּ אֵלָ֑י

Alternate translation: [I have done what you told me to do]
קֽוּם־נָ֣א שְׁבָ֗ה וְאָכְלָה֙ מִצֵּידִ֔י

See how you translated “game meat” in [verses 3](../27/03.md), 5 and 7. Alternate translation: [So now, please sit up and eat some of the game meat that I have prepared for you]
Note 3 topic: figures-of-speech / synecdoche
בַּעֲב֖וּר תְּבָרֲכַ֥נִּי נַפְשֶֽׁךָ

See how you translated a similar clause in [verse 4](../27/04.md).

OET (OET-RV) “I’m your oldest son Esaw,” Yacob replied to his father. “I’ve done what you told me. Please get up, and come and sit up and eat some of my game, so that you’ll bless me.”
Note: The OET-RV is still only a first draft, and so far only a few words have been (mostly automatically) matched to the Hebrew or Greek words that they’re translated from.
Acknowledgements: The Hebrew text, lemmas, and morphology are all thanks to the OSHB and some of the glosses are from Macula Hebrew.
