uW Translation Notes:

Note 1 topic: figures-of-speech / idiom

וְאַל לָעַ֖ד תִּזְכֹּ֣ר עָוֺ֑ן

(Some words not found in UHB: cities_of your_holiness_of,your they_were wilderness Tsiyyōn/(Zion) wilderness become Yerushalayim desolation )

Isaiah is using remember iniquity forever as a common expression of the culture to mean “keep holding the people’s sins against them and punishing them.” If this phrase does not have that meaning for your readers, you could use a comparable expression from your language that does have that meaning, or you could state the meaning plainly. Alternate translation: [and may you not keep holding our sins against us]

Note 2 topic: figures-of-speech / abstractnouns

עָוֺ֑ן

(Some words not found in UHB: cities_of your_holiness_of,your they_were wilderness Tsiyyōn/(Zion) wilderness become Yerushalayim desolation )

If your language does not use an abstract noun for the idea of iniquity, you could express the same idea in another way. Alternate translation: [how we have sinned]
