OET (OET-RV) The wolf and the lamb will graze together,
⇔
≈ and the lion will eat straw like the cow.
⇔
The snake’s food will be dirt and they won’t cause any harm,
⇔
≈ and nothing will be destroyed on my sacred mountain says Yahweh.
Note 1 topic: figures-of-speech / simile
וְאַרְיֵה֙ כַּבָּקָ֣ר יֹֽאכַל תֶּ֔בֶן
and_[the],lion like,ox eat straw
The point of this comparison is that just as the ox eats straw peacefully, so the lion will eat straw rather than hunting other animals. If it would be helpful in your language, you could make this point explicitly. Alternate translation: [and the lion will eat straw peacefully, just as the ox eats straw]
Note 2 topic: figures-of-speech / synecdoche
עָפָ֣ר לַחְמ֑וֹ
dust food_of,its
Yahweh is using bread to represent food in general. If it would be helpful in your language, you could use an equivalent expression from your culture or state the meaning plainly. Alternate translation: [dust will be its food]

Note: The OET-RV is still only a first draft, and so far only a few words have been (mostly automatically) matched to the Hebrew or Greek words that they’re translated from.
