OET (OET-RV) “Now I can die,” Yisra’el said to Yosef, “since I’ve seen your face—seen that you’re still alive.”

Alternate translation: “Then Israel exclaimed to him,”

Jacob did not die until 17 years later (Genesis 47:28). Make sure your translation of this clause does not mean or imply that Jacob wanted to die soon or that he thought he would die soon. Alternate translation: “Now I will die happy,”
Note 1 topic: figures-of-speech / synecdoche

In this context, your face refers to Joseph, not just his face. Decide what is the best way to communicate that in your language. Alternate translation: “since I have seen you face to face” or “since I have seen you in person”
46:30 Jacob was satisfied just to see his beloved son alive—the firstborn of his chosen wife Rachel and the designated family leader (see study note on 48:5-7; see also 1 Chr 5:1-2). More than just a family reunion, this was confirmation that God’s plan was intact.
OET (OET-LV) And_he/it_said Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) to Yōşēf/(Joseph) let_me_die the_now after seen_I DOM face_your if/because still_you [are]_alive.
OET (OET-RV) “Now I can die,” Yisra’el said to Yosef, “since I’ve seen your face—seen that you’re still alive.”
Note: The OET-RV is still only a first draft, and so far only a few words have been (mostly automatically) matched to the Hebrew or Greek words that they’re translated from.
