Yahweh is speaking of death as if it were a living thing that could enter into a covenant. If it would be helpful in your language, you could state the meaning plainly. Alternate translation: [And your agreement with death, as if death were a person you had made a promise with, will be cancelled]

The word translated as when indicates that two things happen at the same time. The overflowing scourge passes through, and at that same time, the leaders will be trampled by it. Use a connector in your language that makes it clear that these things happen at the same time. Alternate translation: [as it passes through]

If your language does not use an abstract noun for the idea of agreement, you could express the same idea in another way. Alternate translation: [and the matter about which you agreedl]

וִ⁠הְיִ֥יתֶם ל֖⁠וֹ לְ⁠מִרְמָֽס

and=you(pl)_will_be to=him/it (into)_a,trampling_place

Isaiah is using you will be to it for trampling as a common expression of the culture to mean “it will trample you.” If this phrase does not have that meaning for your readers, you could use a comparable expression from your language that does have that meaning, or you could state the meaning plainly. Alternate translation: [then it will trample you]
