uW Translation Notes:

Note 1 topic: figures-of-speech / simile

מָחִ֤יתִי כָעָב֙ פְּשָׁעֶ֔יךָ וְכֶעָנָ֖ן חַטֹּאותֶ֑יךָ

swept_away like_(the),cloud transgressions_of,your and,like,cloud sins_of,your

The point of this comparison is that just as a cloud disappears from the sky, so Yahweh has completely removed your transgressions and your sins. If it would be helpful in your language, you could make this point explicitly. Alternate translation: [I have wiped away your transgressions and your sins just as clouds disappear from the sky]

Note 2 topic: writing-poetry

כָעָב֙ & וְכֶעָנָ֖ן

like_(the),cloud & and,like,cloud

For poetic purposes, Isaiah is using two different words that have basically the same meaning. The ULT translates each one as cloud because English does not have two different words that it can use in this context. But if your language does, it would be appropriate to use them here.

Note 3 topic: grammar-connect-logic-result

כִּ֥י גְאַלְתִּֽיךָ

that/for/because/then/when I,have_redeemed_you

The word translated as for indicates that what follows is a reason for what came before. Use a connector in your language that makes it clear that what follows is a reason for what came before. Alternate translation: [because I have redeemed you]

Note 4 topic: figures-of-speech / metaphor

גְאַלְתִּֽיךָ

I,have_redeemed_you

Here Yahweh is speaking of rescuing his people as if he had redeemed them by paying a price to buy back a relative from slavery. Your language may have a comparable expression that you can use in your translation, or you could state the meaning plainly. Alternate translation: [I have set you free]
