Here the speaker is speaking of human beings as if they were grass, which springs up and then quickly withers. Your language may have a comparable expression that you can use in your translation, or you could state the meaning plainly. Alternate translation: [All flesh is temporary]

וְ⁠כָל חַסְדּ֖⁠וֹ כְּ⁠צִ֥יץ הַ⁠שָּׂדֶֽה

The point of this comparison is that just as the flower of the field is short-lived and quickly fades, so is all of its covenant faithfulness.
