Lamech namque septimus est, cui tres filii et una filia adduntur, ut undenarius impleatur, per quem peccatum significatur: nam et a femina clauditur generatio, quæ initium peccati fuit, per quod voluptas carnis, quæ resistit spiritui. Unde Nœma vocatur, id est, voluptas. In hac progenie Lamech primus contra morem, contra naturam, per bigamiam adulterium commisit.
