If your language would not represent a number in a form such as in the seventh month, you could represent this number in a form that your language would use. See how you translated similar time phrases in [verses 4](../08/04.md), 5, and [13](../08/13.md).

הָ⁠אָֽרֶץ

the=earth/land

Notice that the land was dry here, not the entire earth. Consider again how you translated this phrase in [verses 3](../08/03.md), 7, [11](../08/11.md), [13–14](../08/13.md). Alternate translation: [the ground]

יָבְשָׁ֖ה

In this context dry means that the ground was dry enough to walk on and live on without getting stuck in mud. Make sure your translation does not imply that it was so dry (like a desert) that almost nothing would grow on it.
