UST Sew five of these pieces of cloth together to make one set, and sew the other six pieces of cloth together to make another set. Fold the sixth piece of cloth in half to make it double over the front of the cover.

26.9 Sextum sagum in fronte. 26:9 The two goat-hair curtains (26:7) totaled 45 feet by 66 feet. The extra 6 feet were equally distributed to hang down over the front and back of the framework.

Here, face is probably referring to the entrance of the tent. The opening for the protective tent and the sacred tent would have been coordinated so they were in the same place. Alternate translation: “in front of the entrance of the tent”
