26.9 Sextum sagum in fronte. 26.9 Sextum sagum in fronte. Mystice vero in fronte tecti sextum sagum duplicatur, when/with omnes, who sanctam intrant Ecclesiam, ita fide and sacramento Dominicæ passionis initiantur, as huyus too imitatione always sibi vivendum esse intelligant. 26:9 The two goat-hair curtains (26:7) totaled 45 feet by 66 feet. The extra 6 feet were equally distributed to hang down over the front and back of the framework.

Here, face is probably referring to the entrance of the tent. The opening for the protective tent and the sacred tent would have been coordinated so they were in the same place. Alternate translation: “in front of the entrance of the tent”

הָ⁠אֹֽהֶל

the,tent

As in 26:7, the tent refers to the outer tent over the sacred tent. Alternate translation: “the outer tent”
