BrLXXὉ δὲ εἶπε, καὶ νῦν, ὡς λέγετε, οὕτως ἔσται· παρʼ ᾧ ἂν εὑρεθῇ τὸ κόνδυ, ἔσται μου παῖς ὑμεῖς δὲ ἔσεσθε καθαροί.

BrTrAnd he said, Now then it shall be as ye say; with whomsoever the cup shall be found, he shall be my servant, and ye shall be clear.

ULTAnd he said, “Indeed now, according to your words, so it will be: Whoever is found with it will be a slave for me, but you others will be blameless.”

USTJoseph’s servant replied to them, “Okay then, I will do as you suggest except for this: The one whom I find with my master’s cup is the only one who will become my slave. The rest of you will be innocent and free to go.”

BSBAs you say,” replied the steward. “But only the one who is found with [the cup] will be my slave, and the rest of you shall be free of blame.”
