OET (OET-LV)And_answered Yōşēf DOM Farˊoh to_say not_I god he_will_answer DOM the_welfare of_Farˊoh.

OET (OET-RV) “No, it’s not my ability,” Yosef responded, “but God will answer the king to give him peace.”

uW Translation Notes:

Note 1 topic: writing-quotations

וַיַּ֨עַן יוֹסֵ֧ף אֶת פַּרְעֹ֛ה לֵאמֹ֖ר

and,answered Yōşēf DOM Farˊoh to=say

Alternate translation: “Joseph replied to Pharaoh”

Note 2 topic: figures-of-speech / honorifics

בִּלְעָדָ֑י

not,I

Make sure your translation of Joseph’s response sounds polite. See what you did in verse 9. Alternate translation: “Your Majesty, I cannot do that by myself,”

אֱלֹהִ֕ים יַעֲנֶ֖ה

ʼₑlhīmv give_~_a_~_answer

Alternate translation: “but God will interpret your dream”

Note 3 topic: figures-of-speech / 123person

אֶת שְׁל֥וֹם פַּרְעֹֽה

DOM DOM favourable Farˊoh

Consider whether or not it is more natural in your language to use Pharaoh’s name at the beginning of this quote (instead of here) and say, “King Pharaoh, I do not have that ability…” Alternate translation: “for your well-being King Pharaoh.” or “so that you, King Pharaoh, will have peace in your spirit.”

TSN Tyndale Study Notes:

41:16 Joseph knew that only God could tell what Pharaoh’s dreams meant (cp. 40:8), and he was confident that God would do so, because he had given the dreams for a purpose (41:25, 28).
