Abraham trusted in Yahweh, the one and only true God (Genesis [15:6](../15/06.md)). Terah worshiped other gods ([Joshua 24:2](../../jos/24/02.md)), and so did Laban ([verses 19](../31/19.md), [30](../31/30.md)), which suggests that Nahor served the same gods that his father Terah served, and then taught his son Laban to do the same thing. In spite of that, many translations still capitalize God all three times here in [verse 53](../31/53.md). Be consistent with how you spelled Nahor in the book of Genesis.
