BrLXXΚαὶ ἡ ἡμέρα ἐκείνη Κυρίῳ τῷ Θεῷ ἡμῶν ἡμέρα ἐκδικήσεως, τοῦ ἐκδικῆσαι τοὺς ἐχθροὺς αὐτοῦ· καὶ καταφάγεται ἡ μάχαιρα Κυρίου, καὶ ἐμπλησθήσεται, καὶ μεθυσθήσεται ἀπὸ τοῦ αἵματος αὐτῶν, ὅτι θυσία τῷ Κυρίῳ ἀπὸ γῆς Βοῤῥᾶ ἐπὶ ποταμῷ Εὐφράτῃ.
   (Kai haʸ haʸmera ekeinaʸ Kuriōi tōi Theōi haʸmōn haʸmera ekdikaʸseōs, tou ekdikaʸsai tous eⱪthrous autou; kai katafagetai haʸ maⱪaira Kuriou, kai emplaʸsthaʸsetai, kai methusthaʸsetai apo tou haimatos autōn, hoti thusia tōi Kuriōi apo gaʸs Boɽɽa epi potamōi Eufrataʸ. )

BrTrAnd that day shall be to the Lord our God a day of vengeance, to take vengeance on his enemies: and the sword of the Lord shall devour, and be glutted, and be drunken with their blood: for the Lord has a sacrifice from the land of the north at the river Euphrates.

ULTThen the officials of Judah heard these words and went up from the king’s house to Yahweh’s house. They sat in the gateway at the New Gate of Yahweh’s house.

USTWhen the officials of Judah heard about all this that was happening, they rushed from the palace and sat down at the gate of the temple named The New Gate, to judge Jeremiah’s case.

BSBWhen the officials of Judah heard these things, they went up from the king’s palace to the house of the LORD and sat [there] at the entrance of the New Gate.

OEBNow echoes of this tumult having reached the ears of the countries of Judah, they proceeded from the palace up to the Temple; and after they had taken their seats at the entrance to the new gate of the Temple,
