(Some words not found in UHB: again/more the=day in/on/at/with,Nob to,halt shake his/its=hand mountain_of daughter_of Tsiyyōn/(Zion) hill_of Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem) )
This is the name of a village or city near Jerusalem that the Assyrian army traveled through causing fear among the people. It refers to the people who live in this place. (See also: translate-names)
Note 2 topic: figures-of-speech / idiom
(Occurrence 0) he will halt at Nob and shake his fist
(Some words not found in UHB: again/more the=day in/on/at/with,Nob to,halt shake his/its=hand mountain_of daughter_of Tsiyyōn/(Zion) hill_of Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem) )
Here “he” and “his” refer to the king of Assyria and his soldiers. People would shake their fists at people whom they were threatening. Alternate translation: “the army of Assyria will stop at Nob and threaten”
Note 3 topic: figures-of-speech / metonymy
(Occurrence 0) the mountain of the daughter of Zion, the hill of Jerusalem
(Some words not found in UHB: again/more the=day in/on/at/with,Nob to,halt shake his/its=hand mountain_of daughter_of Tsiyyōn/(Zion) hill_of Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem) )
The words “mount” and “hill” are metonyms for the people who live on them. The words “mount of the daughter of Zion” mean almost the same thing as the words “hill of Jerusalem.” See how they are translated in [Isaiah 2:14](../02/14.md). Alternate translation: “the people of Mount Zion and the people living on the hill in Jerusalem” (See also: figs-doublet)
10:24-34 God assured his people of his presence and purpose.

Note: The OET-RV is still only a first draft, and so far only a few words have been (mostly automatically) matched to the Hebrew or Greek words that they’re translated from.
