 ⇔ for the LORD has rejected those in whom you trust,

NET Moreover, you will come away from Egypt

 ⇔ because the Lord will not allow your reliance on them to be successful

And you do not give prosperity to them!”

FBV In fact you will go into exile with your hands on your head as prisoners, because the Lord will have nothing to do with those you trust; they will be no help to you.
