UTNuW Translation Notes:

Note 1 topic: translate-kinship

בָּנָ֞יו וּבְנֵ֤י בָנָיו֙ אִתּ֔וֹ בְּנֹתָ֛יו וּבְנ֥וֹת בָּנָ֖יו

sons,his and=the_sons sons',his with=him/it daughters,his and,daughters sons',his

Consider what is the best way in your language to list these descendants. Alternate translation: “including his sons and grandsons, and his daughters and granddaughters.” or “including his sons, daughters, grandsons, and granddaughters.”

Note 2 topic: figures-of-speech / infostructure

וְכָל זַרְע֑וֹ הֵבִ֥יא אִתּ֖וֹ מִצְרָֽיְמָה

and=all his/its=seed he/it_brought with=him/it towards=Miʦrayim/(Egypt)

For some languages, it may be clearer or more natural to change the order of the clauses in this verse and say, “He/Jacob brought his entire extended family with him to Egypt, including his sons …” Do what is best in your language. Alternate translation: “Yes, Jacob brought his entire family with him to Egypt.” or “Jacob had all his descendants with him when he arrived in Egypt.”
