TSNTyndale Study Notes:

45:16-25 Joseph sent his brothers with instructions to bring Jacob and the entire family to Egypt. Out of gratitude for Joseph’s having saved all of Egypt (45:18; see 47:20), Pharaoh promised the best of all the land of Egypt, and Joseph gave them the finest products of Egypt.

UTNuW Translation Notes:

Note 1 topic: figures-of-speech / quotesinquotes

וּקְח֧וּ אֶת־אֲבִיכֶ֛ם וְאֶת־בָּתֵּיכֶ֖ם וּבֹ֣אוּ אֵלָ֑י

and,take DOM father_of,your_all's and=DOM households_of,your_all's and,come to,me

Make sure it is clear in your translation that verse 18 is still part of Pharaoh’s message to Joseph’s brothers. Also make sure the pronouns that you use throughout verses 17 and 18 fit with whether you translate this embedded quote with a direct or indirect quote. Alternate translation: [Then tell them to bring their father and their families back here to me]

Note 2 topic: figures-of-speech / quotesinquotes

וְאֶתְּנָ֣ה לָכֶ֗ם

and,give to/for=you_all

Consider whether or not it is better in your language to begin a new sentence here. Alternate translation: [I will give them]

אֶת־טוּב֙ אֶ֣רֶץ מִצְרַ֔יִם

DOM DOM best_of earth/land Miʦrayim/(Egypt)

Alternate translation: [the best land in the country of Egypt to live in]

Note 3 topic: figures-of-speech / idiom

וְאִכְל֖וּ אֶת־חֵ֥לֶב הָאָֽרֶץ

and,eat DOM fat_of the=earth/land

This idiom means that they would live comfortably with the best of everything; it does not just refer to food. Consider whether or not you have a similar idiom in your language.
