BSB the Lord will surely bring against them
⇔ the mighty floodwaters of the Euphrates [fn]—
⇔ the king of Assyria and all his pomp.
 ⇔ It will overflow its channels
⇔ and overrun its banks.

OEB therefore, behold, the Lord
⇔ will speedily bring upon them
 ⇔ the waters of the Euphrates,
⇔ the great and mighty river.
 ⇔ It will rise above all its channels,
⇔ and overflow all its banks.

WEB now therefore, behold, the Lord brings upon them the mighty flood waters of the River: the king of Assyria and all his glory. It will come up over all its channels, and go over all its banks.

NET So look, the sovereign master is bringing up against them the turbulent and mighty waters of the Euphrates River – the king of Assyria and all his majestic power. It will reach flood stage and overflow its banks.

LSV Therefore, behold, the Lord is bringing up on them,
The waters of the river, the mighty and the great
(The king of Asshur, and all his glory),
And it has gone up over all its streams,
And has gone on over all its banks.

FBV the Lord is going to bring the powerful floodwaters of the Euphrates River against them—the king of Assyria with all his glorious army. It will flood all its channels and overflow all its banks.

T4T Therefore, I will cause the people of Judah to be attacked by the powerful army of the King of Assyria, which will be like a great flood from the Euphrates River.
⇔ Their soldiers will be everywhere in your country, like a river that overflows all its banks.

LUT siehe, so wird der HErr über sie kommen lassen starke und viel Wasser des Stroms, nämlich den König zu Assyrien und alle seine Herrlichkeit, daß sie über alle ihre Bäche fahren und über alle ihre Ufer gehen;
