(Occurrence 0) you went down to Sheol

(Some words not found in UHB: and,journeyed to/for=the_king in/on/at/with,oil and,multiplied perfumes,your and,sent envoys,your until at,far_away and,sent_down until sheol )

The people did not literally go to Sheol, the world of the dead. Instead, Yahweh is indicating by exaggeration that the people were willing to go anywhere to find new gods to worship.
