BrTrAnd when the seventy years are fulfilled, I will take vengeance on that nation, and will make them a perpetual desolation.

ULTThen it will happen when seventy years have been completed, that I will punish the king of Babylon and that nation, the land of the Chaldeans—this is Yahweh’s declaration—for their iniquity and make it an unending desolation.

USTThen, after they have been in Babylonia for seventy years, I will punish the king of Babylonia and his people for the sins that they have committed. I will cause Babylonia to become a wasteland forever.
