BrTr behold, I will send and take a family from the north, and will bring them against this land, and against the inhabitants of it, and against all the nations round about it, and I will make them utterly waste, and make them a desolation, and a hissing, and an everlasting reproach.

ULT see, I am about to send out a command to gather all the peoples of the north—this is Yahweh’s declaration—with Nebuchadnezzar my servant, king of Babylon, and bring them against this land and its inhabitants, and against all the nations around you. For I will set them apart for destruction. I will turn them into a horror, an object for hissing, and an unending desolation.

25.9 And assumam, etc., Nabuchodonosor servum meum. Non like prophetæ and alii sancti, who Deo serviunt; but because in eversione Yerusalem Master serviat voluntati. And adducam them, etc. This are præmia contemptorum and God audire nolentium. Quidquid therefore mali over we adducitur, nostra sins merentur; and like gentes on_the_contrary Yerusalem adductæ are, so hodie on_the_contrary negligentem Ecclesiam serviunt.
