BrTrand I sent to you my servants the prophets, sending them early; (but ye hearkened not, and listened not with your ears;) saying,

25.4 Et misit Dominus ad vos omnes servos. Non per unum prophetam, sed per omnes, populum suum admonuit, et quasi in vigiliis et excubiis constitutus, surrexit diluculo, ut commoneret, et non audierunt; ut quanto crebrior admonitio, tanto contemptus major. Neque inclinastis. ID. Tanta fuit duritia, etc., usque ad quæ non supplicium pro scelere irrogat.


25.4 And he_sent Master to you everyone servos. Non through one prophetam, but through omnes, the_people his_own admonuit, and as_if in vigiliis and excubiis constitutus, got_up diluculo, as commoneret, and not/no audierunt; as quanto crebrior admonitio, tanto contemptus mayor. Neither inclinastis. ID. Tanta fuit duritia, etc., until to which not/no supplicium for scelere irrogat.
