ULT You must prophesy all these words against them, and say to them,
⇔ ‘Yahweh will roar from the heights
⇔ and he will shout with his voice from his holy dwelling,
⇔ and he will roar mightily against his fold;
⇔ and he will shout, like those who tread the grapes
⇔ against all those who live on the earth.
UST Now tell them all those things that I have said, and also say this to them:
⇔ ‘Yahweh will shout to them from the highest places like a lion roars!
⇔ He will call out with a shout from the holy place where he lives!
⇔ He will roar like a lion against his people because of their sins!
⇔ Like those who shout so loudly when they are treading the grapes,
⇔ he will shout so that everyone who lives on the earth can hear him!
BSB § So you are to prophesy all these words against them and say to them:
⇔ ‘The LORD will roar from on high;
⇔ He will raise His voice from His holy habitation.
⇔ He will roar loudly over His pasture;
⇔ like those who tread the grapes,
⇔ He will call out with a shout
⇔ against all the inhabitants of the earth.
OEB As for thee, let thy prophetic message to them be this:
⇔ Jehovah will roar from on high,
⇔ He will utter His voice from His holy abode;
⇔ Against His own fold He will mightily roar,
⇔ He will lift a "hurrah" like the men at the vintage
⇔ Against those that dwell on the earth, every one.
WEBBE “Therefore prophesy against them all these words, and tell them,
⇔ “‘The LORD will roar from on high,
⇔ and utter his voice from his holy habitation.
⇔ He will mightily roar against his fold.
⇔ He will give a shout, as those who tread grapes,
⇔ against all the inhabitants of the earth.
WMBB (Same as above)
NET “Then, Jeremiah, make the following prophecy against them:
⇔ ‘Like a lion about to attack, the Lord will roar from the heights of heaven;
⇔ from his holy dwelling on high he will roar loudly.
⇔ He will roar mightily against his land.
⇔ He will shout in triumph like those stomping juice from the grapes
⇔ against all those who live on the earth.
LSV “And you, you prophesy all these words to them, and have said to them: YHWH roars from the high place,
And gives forth His voice from His holy habitation,
He surely roars for His habitation,
A shout as those treading [the grapes],
God answers all the inhabitants of the land,
FBV Give this whole message as a prophecy against them. Tell them:
¶ The Lord will thunder from high above. He will thunder loudly from the holy place where he lives. He will give a great roar against the sheepfolds.[fn] He will give a loud shout like people treading the grapes, frightening everyone who lives on earth.
25:30 “Sheepfolds”: or “shepherd's homes.” Also verse 37.
T4T Now tell them all those things that I have said, and also say this to them:
⇔ ‘Yahweh will shout to them from his holy dwelling in heaven [MTY]
⇔ and it will sound like the roar of a lion.
⇔ He will shout like [SIM] people shout when they are treading on grapes to make juice for wine;
⇔ he will shout to everyone on the earth.
LEB • And you yourself shall prophesy against them all these words, and you shall say to them:‘Yahweh will roar from on high, • and from[fn] he will give his voice. • He will roar mightily against his settlement, • a jubilant shout like those who tread grapes, • he will answer against all the inhabitants of the earth.
25:30 Literally “the dwelling place of his holiness”
BBE So, as a prophet, give out these words among them, and say to them, The voice of the Lord will be sounding like a lion from on high; he will send out his voice from his holy place, like the loud voice of a lion, against his flock; he will give a cry, like those who are crushing the grapes, against all the people of the earth.
