3.2 Virum bellatorem. HIER. Non est apud Judæos qui pro lege bellet qui secundum eam judicet: omnes enim vani et stulti sunt. Et ariolum. Quia aliquando vera ariolantur ut Balaam, et divini quinque urbium Palæstinorum, quorum consilio arca Domini remissa est, quasi diceret: Et veri prophetæ et falsi auferentur a Judæis. Senem. Quem LXX presbyterum transtulerunt, etc., usque ad quia presbyteros audire noluit.

3.2 Virum bellatorem. HIER. Non it_is apud Yudæos who for lege bellet who after/second her yudicet: everyone because vani and stulti are. And ariolum. Because aliquando vera ariolantur as Balaam, and divini quinque urbium Palæstinorum, quorum consilio box Master remissa it_is, as_if diceret: And veri prophetæ and falsi auferentur from Yudæis. Senem. Quem LXX presbyterum transthey_took, etc., until to because presbyteros audire noluit.

TSNTyndale Study Notes:

3:1-12 These verses continue the subject of judgment against Israel’s leadership (see 1:23-25). The removal of leadership at all levels would allow the mob to gain control. Chaos and famine would turn Judah and Jerusalem into a social wasteland.

UTNuW Translation Notes:

Note 1 topic: figures-of-speech / genericnoun

(Occurrence 0) the mighty man … the warrior … the judge … the prophet … the one who practices divination … the elder

(Some words not found in UHB: mighty and,man war judge and, prophet and, diviner and, elder )

This is a list of categories of people that others depend on. Since they do not refer to particular individuals, they can all be translated with plural nouns as in the UST. Alternate translation: “the mighty men … the warriors … the judges … the prophets … the ones who practices divination … the elders”

(Occurrence 0) the one who practices divination

(Some words not found in UHB: mighty and,man war judge and, prophet and, diviner and, elder )

This is a person who claims that he can tell the future by looking at things like animal parts and leaves. See how you translated similar words in Isaiah 2:6.
