TSNTyndale Study Notes:

29:14 Human wisdom . . . intelligence . . . will disappear (see 1 Cor 1:19). The prophet had already spoken of the failure of Egypt’s wise men (Isa 19:11-12); even Judah’s wise men would blunder.

Alternate translation: “Therefore, look and see! I am going to do wonderful and marvelous things among you that you will not be able to explain”

Note 1 topic: figures-of-speech / parallelism

(Occurrence 0) The wisdom of their wise men will perish, and the understanding of their prudent men will disappear

(Some words not found in UHB: for=so/thus/hence behold,I again to,do_amazing_things DOM the,people the=this wonder and,wonder and,perish wisdom_of wise,their and,discernment discerning,its hidden )

Both of these statements mean the same thing. Yahweh showing that the wise people cannot understand or explain what Yahweh does is spoken of as if their wisdom and understanding will vanish. (See also: figs-metaphor)
