OET (OET-LV)[fn] may_they_rejoice and_ nations _sing_for_joy if/because you_judge peoples uprightness and_nations on_the_earth guide_them Şelāh.

67:5 Note: KJB: Ps.67.4

OET (OET-RV)Let the peoples praise you, God.
⇔ Let all the people groups praise you.

uW Translation Notes:

Note 1 topic: figures-of-speech / parallelism

Let the peoples praise you & let all the peoples praise you

(Some words not found in UHB: glad and,sing_for_joy nations that/for/because/then/when judge peoples equity and, nations on_the=earth guide, them selah )

The second clause intensifies the meaning of the first to emphasize how important it is to praise God.

TSN Tyndale Study Notes:

Ps 67 In this anonymous prayer for God’s blessing, the psalmist addresses the knowledge and worship of God among the nations (cp. 64:9; 65:8). The prayer requests that God’s name be kept holy and that his kingdom come (cp. Matt 6:9-13).
