David is speaking of the righteous person as if he were a warrior who could wash his feet in the blood that covered a battlefield after defeating enemies. This image expresses the idea of complete victory. If it would be helpful in your language, you could use a comparable expression or state the meaning plainly. Alternate translation: [He will triumph completely over the wicked] or [He will celebrate total victory over the wicked]
