These two phrases you will not abandon my soul to Sheol and You will not hand over your godly one to see the pit mean basically the same thing. The second emphasizes the meaning of the first by repeating the same idea with different words. Hebrew poetry was based on this kind of repetition, and you may want to show this to your readers by including both phrases in your translation. If it is helpful, you could connect the phrases in a way that shows that the second phrase is repeating the first one, not saying something additional. Alternate translation: [you will save me, your faithful follower, from death] or [you will save me, a godly person, from the grave]

See the Introduction to this psalm for a discussion of this phrase. Here, David is referring to Yahweh saving him from evil men who might try to kill him. David is not saying that he will not die of old age. Avoid translating this verse in a way that might make it appear that David thinks he will not die of old age.

David assumes that readers will know that the pit refers to the grave or death. You could say that explicitly if that would be helpful to your readers. Alternate translation: [You will rescue your godly one from death] or [You will rescue your godly one from the grave]

Even though David is addressing Yahweh directly, he is speaking of himself in the third person as your godly one to show humility. If it would be helpful in your language, you could translate this in a humble form in the first person. Alternate translation: [me, your godly one]
