If your language does not use an abstract noun for the idea of sorrows, you could express the same idea in another way. Alternate translation: [They will suffer greatly, they who hasten after another god]

The psalmist is leaving out some of the words that in many languages a sentence would need in order to be complete. You could supply these words from the context, as in the ULT, if it would be clearer in your language. Alternate translation: [those who hasten after another god]

Here David is speaking as if those who seek out and eagerly worship other gods actually hasten after them. Your language may have a comparable expression that you can use in your translation, or you could state the meaning plainly. Alternate translation: [they who worship another god]

By I will not pour out their drink offerings of blood, the psalmist means that he will not participate in the pagan worship practices that involve offering drinks mixed with blood to false gods. You could include this information in your translation if that would be helpful to your readers. Alternate translation: [I will not participate in their blood offerings to other gods]
