This is the beginning of what the psalmist said. If it would be helpful to your readers, you could mark that this is a direct quote of the psalmist. Alternate translation: [But as for me, I will declare to eternity; I will sing praise to the God of Jacob]

The psalmist is stating the pronoun I twice for emphasis. He is doing that to emphasize his personal commitment and determination, in contrast to the wicked. If a speaker of your language would repeat a pronoun for the same purpose, you may want to use that construction in your translation. If not, your language may have other ways of showing that meaning here. Alternate translation: [But as for me, I will declare]

Here, Jacob represents the people of Israel, the descendants of Jacob. If it would be helpful in your language, you could use an equivalent expression or state the meaning plainly. Alternate translation: [to the God of the people of Israel] or [to the God of the Israelites]
