2 give_a_blast_on a_ram’s_horn in_Tsiyyōn/(Zion) and_sound_a_battle_signal on_the_mountain_of my_holiness_of_of all_of let_them_tremble the_inhabitants_of the_earth/land if/because the_day_of is_about_to_come of_YHWH if/because it_is_near.
2 A_day_of darkness and_gloom a_day_of cloud and_thick_darkness like_dawn spread_out over the_mountains a_people numerous and_mighty like_it not it_has_occurred since (the)_antiquity and_after_it not it_will_repeat until years_of a_generation and_a_generation.
3 Before_it fire it_has_consumed and_after_it a_flame it_sets_ablaze is_like_the_garden_of ˊĒden the_earth/land before_it and_after_it a_wilderness_of desolation and_also escape not it_belongs for_him/it.
4 is_like_the_appearance_of horses appearance_of_its and_like_horsemen so they_run.
5 Like_the_sound_of chariots over the_tops_of the_mountains they_leap like_the_sound_of a_flame_of fire which_consumes stubble like_a_people mighty deployed_of battle.

20 And_DOM the_northerner[s] I_will_remove_far_away from_with_you(pl) and_I_will_drive_it_away into a_land dryness and_desolation DOM his/its_faces/face into the_sea (the)_eastern and_its_of_end into the_sea (the)_western stench_of_its and_he/it_would_go_up smell_of_its_foul and_it_will_go_up if/because he_has_made_great for_doing.
21 Do_not fear Oh_land be_glad and_rejoice if/because YHWH he_has_made_great for_doing.
22 Do_not fear Oh_animals_of the_field if/because the_pastures_of they_are_green the_wilderness if/because the_tree[s] it_has_borne fruit_of_its the_fig_tree and_the_vine they_have_given strength_of_their.
23 And_the_sons of_Tsiyyōn/(Zion) be_glad and_rejoice in_YHWH god_of_your(pl) if/because he_has_given to/for_you(pl) DOM the_early_rain for_righteousness and_he_has_sent_down to/for_you(pl) rain early_rain and_spring_rain in_month.
24 And_they_will_be_full the_threshing_floors grain and_they_will_overflow the_wine-vats new_wine and_fresh_oil.
25 And_I_will_restore to/for_you(pl) DOM the_years which it_has_eaten the_locust[s] the_locust[s] and_the_locust[s] and_the_locust[s] army_of_my (the)_great which I_sent among_you(pl).
26 And_you(pl)_will_eat eating and_being_satisfied and_you(pl)_will_praise DOM the_name_of YHWH god_of_your(pl) who he_has_dealt with_you(pl) by_doing_wonderfully and_not people_of_my they_will_be_ashamed forever.
27 And_you(pl)_will_know if/because_that am_in_the_midst_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) I and_I am_YHWH god_of_your(pl) and_there_is_not yet and_not they_will_be_ashamed people_of_my forever.
3 [fn] and_it_was after thus I_will_pour_out DOM my_breath/wind/spirit on all_of flesh sons_of_your(pl) and_they_will_prophesy and_your(pl)_of_daughters your_old_of_ dreams they_will_dream men_of_your_young visions they_will_see.
2 [fn] and_also on the_male_servants and_on the_female_servants in_the_days (the)_those I_will_pour_out DOM my_breath/wind/spirit.
3 [fn] and_I_will_put wonders in_heavens and_on_earth blood and_fire and_columns_of smoke.
4 [fn] the_sun it_will_be_changed into_darkness and_the_moon into_blood to_(the)_face_of/in_front_of/before comes the_day_of YHWH (the)_great and_(the)_awesome.
5 [fn] and_it_was every _who he_will_call in/on_name_of YHWH he_will_escape if/because on_the_mountain_of Tsiyyōn/(Zion) and_in_Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem) it_will_be an_escaped_remnant just_as he_has_said YHWH and_will_among_the_survivors those_whom YHWH will_be_calling.

2 [fn] and_I_will_gather DOM all_of the_nations and_I_will_bring_them_down to the_valley_of Yəhōshāfāţ/(Jehoshaphat) and_I_will_enter_into_judgement with_them there on people_of_my and_my_of_inheritance Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) which they_have_scattered among_nations and_DOM land_of_my they_have_divided_up.
3 [fn] and_near/to people_of_my they_have_throw a_lot and_they_have_exchanged the_boy for_prostitute and_the_girl they_have_sold for_wine and_they_have_drunk.
4 [fn] and_also what are_you(pl) to_me Oh_Tyre and_Tsīdōn/(Sidon) and_all/each/any/every the_territories_of Fəleshet recompense are_you(pl) repaying to_me and_if making_recompense are_you(pl) to_me swift quickly I_will_return recompense_of_your(pl) on_your_of_head.
5 [fn] that silver_of_my and_my_of_gold you(pl)_took and_my_desirable_of_things (the)_good you(pl)_took to_your(pl)_own_of_temples.
6 [fn] and_the_sons of_Yəhūdāh and_the_sons of_Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem) you(pl)_sold to_the_people_of the_Greeks so_as to_remove_them_far_away from_under territory_of_their_own.
7 [fn] here_I am_about_of_to_rouse_them from the_place where you(pl)_sold DOM_them (to)_there and_I_will_return recompense_of_your(pl) on_your_of_head.
8 [fn] and_I_will_sell DOM sons_of_your(pl) and_DOM daughters_of_your(pl) in_the_hand_of the_people_of Yəhūdāh/(Judah) and_they_will_sell_them to_the_Sabeans to a_nation distant if/because YHWH he_has_spoken.
9 [fn] proclaim this among_nations consecrate a_war rouse the_warriors let_them_draw_near let_them_go_up all_of the_men_of (the)_war.
10 [fn] beat plowshares_of_your(pl) into_swords and_your(pl)_pruning_of_knives into_spears the_weak_man let_him_say am_a_warrior I.

17 [fn] and_you(pl)_will_know if/because_that I am_YHWH god_of_your(pl) who_dwells in_Tsiyyōn the_mountain_of my_holiness_of_of and_it_will_be Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem) a_holy_place and_strangers not they_will_pass in_it again.
18 [fn] and_it_was on_day (the)_that they_will_drip the_mountains sweet_wine and_the_hills they_will_go milk and_all the_ravines_of Yəhūdāh/(Judah) they_will_go water and_a_spring from_the_house_of YHWH it_will_go_forth and_it_watered DOM the_wadi_of (the)_Shittim.
19 [fn] Miʦrayim/(Egypt) (into)_a_desolation it_will_become and_ʼEdōm (into)_a_wilderness_of desolation it_will_become from_the_violence_of the_people_of Yəhūdāh whom they_shed blood innocent in_their_of_land.
20 [fn] and_Yəhūdāh/(Yihudah) forever it_will_remain and_Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem) to_a_generation and_a_generation.
21 [fn] and_I_will_leave_unpunished blood_of_their which_not I_left_unpunished and_YHWH is_dwelling in_Tsiyyōn/(Zion).
