Here the psalmist is speaking as if Yahweh had given his people a horn, which is an animal’s horn that represents strength and power. If this image communicates well in your language, please use it. If not, you could express this as a comparison. Alternate translation: [and he has given strength to his people]

The words Hallelu Yah are Hebrew words, containing a plural command to praise Yahweh. You will need to decide if you will use these words in their Hebrew form or if you will instead translate the meaning into your language. Either approach has broad support. If you use the Hebrew words, you could spell them the way that they sound in your language and then put the translation in a footnote. Alternate translation: [Halleluia] or [Praise Yah]
