Asaph is using the possessive form to describe a bird that lives in the heavens, that is, the sky. If a speaker of your language would not use the possessive form for this, you could express this idea in another way. Alternate translation: [to the birds that fly in the sky]

בְּשַׂ֥ר חֲ֝סִידֶ֗י⁠ךָ לְ⁠חַיְת⁠וֹ־אָֽרֶץ

Asaph is leaving out some of the words that in many languages a sentence would need in order to be complete. You can supply these words from the context if that would be clearer in your language. Alternate translation: [and they have given the flesh of your faithful as food to the beast of the earth]

Asaph is using the adjective faithful as a noun to mean people who are faithful to God. Your language may use adjectives in the same way. If not, you can translate this adjective with an equivalent phrase. Alternate translation: [your faithful ones]

Asaph is using the possessive form to describe a beast that lives on the earth. If a speaker of your language would not use the possessive form for this, you could express this idea in another way. Alternate translation: [to the animals that live on the land]
