As the Introduction to this psalm discusses, the pronoun you is singular here and throughout the psalm because the psalmist is speaking individually to people whom he wants to encourage to trust Yahweh. So use the singular form in your translation if your language marks that distinction.

The psalmist is speaking as if the individual whom he is addressing were a bird or small animal that a trapper was trying to catch in a snare. If it would be helpful in your language, you could state the meaning plainly. Alternate translation: [from anyone who would deceptively try to harm you]
