The word you is singular here and through verse 11 because the psalmist is directly addressing Yahweh. So use the singular form in your translation if your language marks that distinction. Alternate translation: [you, Yahweh, shatter]

The psalmist is using ships of Tarshish as a common expression of his culture to mean “ocean-going ships” or “large, sturdy ships.” If this phrase does not have that meaning in your language, you could use a comparable expression from your language that does have that meaning, or you could state the meaning plainly.
