uW Translation Notes:

Note 1 topic: figures-of-speech / metonymy

כִּימ֣וֹת עִנִּיתָ֑נוּ שְׁ֝נ֗וֹת רָאִ֥ינוּ רָעָֽה

(Some words not found in UHB: make,us_rejoice according,to_[the]_days_of (of)_[which],you(pl)_afflicted_us years_of seen evil )

Moses is using the terms days and years to refer to specific times, since time is made up of days and years. If it would be helpful in your language, you could state the meaning plainly. However, since the Israelites were afflicted and did experience trouble for a specific number of days and years, you may decide to retain those terms in your translation. Alternate translation: [for the same amount of time that you have afflicted us, yes, for the same amount of time that we have experienced trouble] or [for as many days as you have afflicted us, yes, for as many years as we have experienced trouble]

Note 2 topic: figures-of-speech / ellipsis

שְׁ֝נ֗וֹת רָאִ֥ינוּ רָעָֽה

(Some words not found in UHB: make,us_rejoice according,to_[the]_days_of (of)_[which],you(pl)_afflicted_us years_of seen evil )

Moses is leaving out some of the words that in many languages a sentence would need in order to be complete. You can supply these words from the context if that would be helpful in your language. Alternate translation: [yes, make us glad for as many years as we have seen trouble]
