The psalmist is speaking of the temple of Yahweh as if it were a house in which he lived. Your language may have a comparable expression that you can use in your translation, or you could state the meaning plainly. Alternate translation: [the temple of Yahweh]

The psalmist is speaking to Jerusalem that he knows cannot hear him. He is doing this to communicate to the people listening to him that he feels very strongly about his commitment to worship and praise God in the holy city. If it would be helpful in your language, you could translate these words as if he were speaking directly to the people about Jerusalem. Alternate translation: [in the midst of Jerusalem]

The words Hallelu Yah are Hebrew words, containing a plural command to praise Yahweh. You will need to decide if you will use these words in their Hebrew form or if you will instead translate the meaning into your language. Either approach has broad support. If you use the Hebrew words, you could spell them the way that they sound in your language and then put the translation in a footnote. Alternate translation: [Halleluia] or [Praise Yah]
