uW Translation Notes:

Note 1 topic: figures-of-speech / metonymy

אָמַ֥ר בְּ֝לִבּ֗וֹ לֹ֣א תִּדְרֹֽשׁ

he/it_had_said (Some words not found in UHB: on/upon/above/on_account_of//he/it_went_in what? renounce wicked ʼElohīm he/it_had_said in,heart_of,his not call_~_to_account )

Here saying in his heart means that he thinks or believes something without necessarily speaking it out loud. If it would be helpful in your language, you could use an equivalent expression or state the meaning plainly. Alternate translation: [He thinks to himself, “You will not seek] or [He believes deep down, “You will not look]

Note 2 topic: figures-of-speech / ellipsis

לֹ֣א תִּדְרֹֽשׁ

not (Some words not found in UHB: on/upon/above/on_account_of//he/it_went_in what? renounce wicked ʼElohīm he/it_had_said in,heart_of,his not call_~_to_account )

The psalmist is leaving out some of the words that in many languages a sentence would need in order to be complete. You could supply these words from the context if it would be clearer in your language. It is clearer here than in [10:3](../010/003.md) who is seeking what. The wicked think that God does not seek them out, or notice them, to punish them. Alternate translation: [You, God, will not punish me]
