If you decide this is the meaning, then you can translate the two verbs in this phrase in a similar way to the ULT. (2) expressing something that will happen in the future. Alternate translation: [you will lead me and guide me] or (3) a request that is a prayer to Yahweh. (This option is less likely since David does not use the imperative forms of these verbs as would be expected if these verbs were meant to be requests.) Alternate translation: [lead me and guide me] or [please lead me and guide me]
