uW Translation Notes:

Note 1 topic: figures-of-speech / nominaladj

יְרֵאֶ֑יךָ

[those]_fearing_of,you

The psalmist is using the adjective fearful as a noun to mean a certain kind of person. Your language may use adjectives in the same way. If not, you can translate this adjective with an equivalent phrase. Alternate translation: [those who fear you]

Note 2 topic: figures-of-speech / metaphor

יָשׁ֣וּבוּ לִ֣י יְרֵאֶ֑יךָ

turn to=me [those]_fearing_of,you

The psalmist is speaking as if the people were not paying attention to him but he wants them to turn back to him and pay attention. If it would be helpful in your language, you could state the meaning plainly. Alternate translation: [May the fearful of me pay attention to me]

Note 3 topic: translate-textvariants

וְ֝יֹדְעֵ֗י

(Some words not found in UHB: turn to=me [those]_fearing_of,you and,[those_who]_know_of testimonies_of,(of)_your )

Some ancient manuscripts read “so that they may know.” The ULT follows that reading. Other ancient manuscripts read “also those knowing.” If a translation of the Bible exists in your region, you may wish to use the reading that it uses. If a translation of the Bible does not exist in your region, you may wish to use the reading of the ULT.
