uW Translation Notes:

Note 1 topic: figures-of-speech / metonymy

זֶה־הַ֭יּוֹם עָשָׂ֣ה יְהוָ֑ה

this the=day (Some words not found in UHB: this the=day he/it_had_made YHWH rejoice and,let_us_rejoice in=him/it )

The psalmist is using the term day to refer to a specific time when God acted to bring about the events being celebrated. If it would be helpful in your language, you could state the meaning plainly. Alternate translation: [Yahweh caused the events we are celebrating today to happen]

Note 2 topic: figures-of-speech / doublet

נָגִ֖ילָה וְנִשְׂמְחָ֣ה

rejoice (Some words not found in UHB: this the=day he/it_had_made YHWH rejoice and,let_us_rejoice in=him/it )

The terms rejoice and be glad mean similar things. The psalmist is using the two terms together for emphasis. If it would be clearer for your readers, you could express the emphasis with a single phrase. Alternate translation: [Let us rejoice greatly]
