122.3 Miserere. ID. Secunda pars, ubi precatur misericordiam contra insultantes. Servus qui vapulat, levatis oculis ad Deum, erumpit in necessariam vocem: Miserere. Repleti sumus. Ut cum dicitur. Quid credis, insane, vides quod credis? Reversus est ne aliquis ab inferis, et retulit tibi quid ibi agitur? Ecce, quod ego amo, video et fruor.

122.3 Have_mercy. ID. Second part, where prays mercy on_the_contrary insulting. Servant who/which is_beaten, you_lift eyes to God, breaks_out in/into/on necessary voice: Have_mercy. Filled we_are. As when/with it_is_said. What do_you_believe, insane, sees that do_you_believe? Returned it_is not someone away lower, and reported to_you what there is_being_done? Ecce, that I I_love, I_see and I_enjoy.

Be gracious is an imperative, but it communicates a polite request rather than a command. If the imperative does not communicate a polite request for your readers, then use a form in your language that communicates a polite request. It may be helpful to add an expression such as “please” to make this clear. Alternate translation: [Please be gracious to us, Yahweh, be gracious to us]

The word translated as for indicates that what follows is a reason for what came before. The psalmist asks Yahweh to be gracious because they have been despised for so long. Use a connector in your language that makes it clear that what follows is a reason for what came before. Alternate translation: [because we are greatly satiated with contempt]

The psalmist is speaking of being treated with contempt as if it were food that fills a person. He means that they have experienced so much contempt that they cannot endure any more. Your language may have a comparable expression that you can use in your translation, or you could state the meaning plainly. Alternate translation: [we have experienced more contempt than we can endure]
